About
Boulder’s Eiruv was built in 2008 by Kehilath Aish Kodesh, an open orthodox Jewish congregation in North Boulder. The eiruv covers a one-square-mile area, roughly, between 9th and 28th streets, and between Iris and Canyon. The area includes two hotels, several parks, the shul, and the homes of many community members
Kehilath Aish Kodesh has been in the process of building an Eiruv for more than three years now. What started as a dream has become a reality, with the hard work and support of local and national donors. In December 2007, we won city counsel approval due to the enormous support of the entire Boulder Jewish community, including those who will not benefit from the eiruv directly.
The Rav Hamachshir is Rabbi Notta Greenblatt of Memphis, TN, and was built by Yakov Watkins of Denver. The Eiruv is checked every week by a congregant, and repairs are made by the rabbi and by a local arborist.
